Breakfast Club

7.30am-8.20am, 2.50 per child per session (free for those in receipt of free school meals)

Each school morning, our lovely breakfast club team provides a healthy breakfast and fun activities to ensure the children have a great start to their day.  

 

  • Parents can drop off their children at any convenient time during the club, but please ensure they are in school before 8am if they require a breakfast.  

  • There is a maximum of 25 spaces per session, bookable via the Arbor parent portal/app

  • Tax free childcare vouchers/codes accepted

  • Bring your child to the main entrance, where they will be met by a friendly face

  • The children are taken to their classes at the end of the club, ready for learning to begin!



Ignite After School Care

3pm-4.15pm or 5.45pm daily - depending on need, prices vary (see options on the booking site)

Our PE partners, Ignite Sports, provide our formal after school care.  Each term they offer different sports clubs, focussed on individual sports, tailored to particular ages/year groups, alongside a more traditional after-school provision for all ages offering non-sports activities.   

 

  • Flexible, reliable childcare: open every school day, you can book sessions in the Ignite Club for just the sport session, just the non-sport session, or a combination.

  • Examples of sports sessions: football, summer sports, archery & nerf

  • Activities included in Ignite after school club include outdoor play, crafts, colouring, homework support

  • Children staying beyond 4.15pm are provided with a light tea (eg, wraps, sandwiches, pasta)

  • Sessions are bookable via the Ignite booking system (Abler): Book Ignite After School Club

  • The club leaders and sports coaches are familiar to all of the children as they provide PE, sports coaching and lunchtime activities during the school week



Next Steps Nursery After School Care

3pm-5.30pm, Monday-Thursday, £12 per child per session

Our on-site nursery, Next Steps, offers after school care for our Reception (Acorns) class.  This is to ease the transition from nursery to school days, as many of the children will be familiar with our nurturing, friendly team - just what they may need after a day at ‘big school’! 

 

  • Children are able to play and decompress in a relaxed, familiar environment with the younger children

  • A light tea is served at each session

  • Sessions are bookable via the Arbor parent portal/app and are limited to 5 pupils per day

  • Tax free childcare codes/vouchers accepted

  • Spaces may also be offered to older siblings of children in the nursery (up to year 2), spaces allowing at at the discretion of the Nursery team




Teacher-led Extra-Curricular Clubs

3pm-4pm, days vary, no charge

The teaching staff offer a range of afterschool activity clubs throughout the year, that change every other term (Sept-Christmas, New Year-Easter, Easter-Summer holiday).  

  • Look out for the options available to your child - an email and Google form is circulated when the clubs are due to renew.

  • Examples of clubs offered include: Choir, Art, Creative Writing, Computing and Cookery

  • These clubs are free of charge to attend (though some incur a small charge for resources)

  • Spaces in each club are limited and are offered depending on which children have attended previously (if oversubscribed)

  • These clubs are offered as interest/activity clubs, and may be cancelled if the leading teacher has other commitments - these clubs should not be treated as a guaranteed child care option
