Art and Design

Art is a valued part of the curriculum at St. John's.  We offer a range of activities to inspire and challenge pupils with a view of providing the necessary skills for them to create their own works of art.

Our annual Arts Week is always keenly anticipated and enjoyed by all, normally finishing with an exhibition for parents to visit.  Educational visits have included trips to the Holborne Museum in Bath where our children's work is displayed annually.

Arts Week

Each year we take part in the National Gallery's Take One Picture Project - this year we had to create art based on 'The Surprise' by Henri Rousseau.  Each class chose a different type of media to create their very own version of the picture.
